Gite Grottes, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, cellar, sleeps 7

 Description

  • A 1720 sqft cottage with exposed beams
  • An impressive cathedral framework
  • Canadian stove (24 Kw)
  • Tiled vaulted cellar
  • Quality furniture, linen and crockery
  • Private enclosed garden with barbecue

Each cottage has its own personality, but Gite ‘Grottes du Perigord’ is probably the most striking: The Lascaux bedroom, with its ceiling culminating at 26 ft. is the size of many city flats, and hosts appreciate the volume. Even though the kitchen is the most modern of the four cottages, the rest is the most mediaeval looking.

The cellar is also an asset during summer heatwaves, since it serves as a natural refresher.
